Aftercare

We help moms on their journey to break free from addiction even after they leave Parisi House, increasing their chances for success. Our Aftercare program provides a safe place for moms and their kids to come together and support each other as they continue their recovery. Aftercare meetings give women the opportunity to share coping strategies and stay connected to the counselors and child development staff they have come to know and trust.

What sets our Aftercare program apart is we have removed many of the barriers that often keep women from attending. We hold meetings on a weeknight at a central location accessible by public transportation, and we make accommodations for women who don’t have access to public transit or another way to get there. We also provide a meal and childcare, and our counselors check in with former clients to encourage them to attend.
